Estate planning for Cupertino and Saratoga, in the language your family speaks.
In Cupertino and Saratoga, we often meet with two generations at once: working parents with RSUs and a home to protect, and grandparents who prefer to talk about these decisions in Cantonese or Mandarin.

One conversation, in English, Cantonese or Mandarin
Planning goes more smoothly when everyone understands it. Meetings can include parents and adult children together, in English, Cantonese or Mandarin, so no one has to translate a legal conversation for the family. Documents and written correspondence are in English.
Many families plan for both generations at once: the parents' trust, and an update to the grandparents' older trust or a plan for incapacity.
RSUs, ESPP and company stock
Vested shares, brokerage accounts and retirement accounts each follow different rules. We coordinate them with your trust so each piece points the same way, and, where stock has grown sharply, consider whether a GRAT makes sense.
Property in Saratoga and the foothills
Hillside and larger-lot homes are often the core of a family's wealth. A properly funded trust generally avoids formal probate for them, and the plan can say whether a home should be kept for the family or sold and divided.
