Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026.
American Trust Institute ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
Our appointment request form asks for your name, a mobile phone number and/or email address, your preferred times for a call, and whether we may text you about scheduling. When you call, email or later speak with our team, we receive the information you choose to share, which may include your preferred office and language and a brief description of what you need. Please do not send confidential details through this website.
Our client feedback form asks for your name, your comments, whether we may share them on this website and how you would like to be identified, and, if you would like us to follow up, an email address or phone number. We publish comments only with your permission and only after our review, and we may edit them for length.
How we use it
- To respond to you and arrange a consultation
- To check for conflicts of interest before taking on a matter
- To keep records as required for our practice
We may contact you by phone, email or, if you agree, text message about scheduling. We use your number only to communicate about your appointment. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with others for their marketing.
Service providers
Messages sent through our form are processed by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, and delivered to our office email. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. These providers handle information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit this website and which pages they read. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites and does not collect your name, email or other contact details. We do not use advertising or remarketing tools. Because we do not track visitors across websites, we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Our San Jose and San Francisco office pages include an embedded Google map. When the map loads, Google may collect information about your visit, which can include setting cookies, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Keeping and protecting information
We keep information only as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, subject to our legal and professional obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
